GLOAM Pt. 2

from GLOAM by Ellaar

/

lyrics

Blackness and decay erupt from the postules of this shapeless beast. It creeps into every crack, while it’s emulsion corrupts and corrodes. The beings of a lesser world are consumed by its blanketing influence. The victims of a once prosperous commune now lay waste in a sea of rot. It’s claws are infinite and it’s teeth spire towards a starless sky. The Gloam is coming.

These fractured hands
That coddle my soul
Melded together
In a cacophony of glass

Sand blasted skin
My watered eyes
Try not to give up
My dim pilot light

Those who escape the Gloam are few and far between
A soul, tainted and charred, carries the weight of a centuries old glutton
And yet, some hope persists.
