GLOAM Pt. 1

Within the pulse of labored serf
Lies an ember of Mercury and soot
It swells and converges, It billows and it binds
It collapses the lungs and it weakens the mind

Blackness and decay erupt from the postules of this shapeless beast. It creeps into every crack, while it’s emulsion corrupts and corrodes. The beings of a lesser world are consumed by its blanketing influence. The victims of a once prosperous commune now lay waste in a sea of rot. It’s claws are infinite and it’s teeth spire towards a starless sky. The Gloam is coming.
These fractured hands
That coddle my soul
Melded together
In a cacophony of glass
Sand blasted skin
My watered eyes
Try not to give up
My dim pilot light
Those who escape the Gloam are few and far between
A soul, tainted and charred, carries the weight of a centuries old glutton
And yet, some hope persists.

GLOAM Pt. 3
03:13
|
|
||
My mouth is dry and my
Bloods runnin thin
My weary legs have given out more times than I remember
I watch the blackened clouds that seep out from the dead horizon
I rub my tired eyes and wonder if this life’s worth living
(Oh wuh oh)
Be happy!
(Oh wuh oh)
Don’t give up now!
(Oh wuh oh)
Please be happy!
Cause if they catch you looking down then you’re already 6 feet under
Well I let my blood pour out and I
Take a dip on the waxy lagoon
I narry waste a drop but now I’m a crimson profligate
I scramble looking at the wounds I
Think I’d been possessed
I’ve been running for far too long but
It seems like the Gloam will always run faster
(Oh wuh oh)
Be happy!
(Oh wuh oh)
Don’t give up now!
(Oh wuh oh)
Please be happy!
Cause if they catch you looking down then you’re already 6 feet under

GLOAM Pt. 4

|

Go ahead and break the mirror, you already know
A disgusting image of yourself that you can’t recognize
Oh what to do with such an awful, ugly, wretched beast?
Put it down, lay to rest, no one wants to see it
Just fucking do it
Doesn’t matter how
Go ahead and take your pick from the catalogue
Find the best way to smash your fragile porcelain
Take a shard out from the pile of your shattered soul
And drag it along your soft and tender carapace
Look at you fucking bleed
You’re making such a mess
You tried so hard to resist
Now you’re back to the Gloam
